This collection compiles the poems of four prominent Silhak (practical learning) scholars from late Joseon Korea: Yi Deokmu, Yu Deukgong, Bak Jega, and Yi Seogu. It is a handwritten copy of an edition originally compiled by Yu Deukgong in 1776 and printed in Beijing in 1777, with prefaces by Chinese scholars Yi Zhaoyuan and Ban Jingjun.

The manuscript’s inner title page adopts Chinese book design conventions, and the end of each poet’s section features evaluative comments written in red and blue ink. The cover bears the imprint “Junggang Seowokjang” (重江書屋藏), a publisher otherwise unrecorded in bibliographic history, adding rarity value. Though the calligrapher is unknown, the elegance of the brushwork and preservation make this a prized example of late 18th-century literary and manuscript culture.

표지에 보이는 ‘중강서옥장(重江書屋藏)’이라는 출판 표기는 현재까지 인쇄본이나 서지 자료로 확인되지 않는 희귀한 정보이며, 필사자의 정체는 알려져 있지 않으나, 뛰어난 필체와 보존 상태로 보아 미본(美本)으로 간주된다.
